How is the cream made?

Consultation
Before preparing the cream, the specific skin type and skin care habits are identified. The pharmacist will ask you what cosmetics you use, how you look after your skin every day, and what cosmetics you choose for that.

Skin test
In order to determine the facial skin type, its moisture level and elasticity level, a special device manufactured in Germany will be used. It is possible to assess the pigmentation of the skin, the functioning of the fat glands, the moisture level, elasticity, as well as the skin and hair condition of the head.
The moisture level of the facial skin is tested in four places: on the forehead, chin, and cheeks. The elasticity of the skin in the eye area is then tested. Oiliness of the skin is tested by a special strip sensor. The results obtained are sufficient for the preparation of facial cream suitable exactly to the individual needs of the customer. The pharmacist will agree with customers whether it going to be a day or night cream.

Preparation of the cream
Afterwards the pharmacist, having analysed the information obtained during the conversation and test, will proceed with the preparation of the cream. Out of three different bases, the most appropriate base cream for the season and the skin type of the customer’s face is selected. At first the required amount of base is weighed out in the container, and after 10 to 15 minutes the active substances are added one by one.
In order to adapt the cream to individual needs, there are more than 20 different active substances available for moisturising, treating, and strengthening the immunity of skin. You can add one to six active substances to the base by creating unique combinations. Three active substances are usually added.
Apart from the time spent for conversation and design of the cream, overall, the preparation takes between 45 and 50 minutes. However, normally the cream can be received the day after the consultation as the pharmacist will then have time to thoroughly analyse the data and evaluate which active substances to add to the cream.

Design
Just the design left and the cream is ready!
Since it does not have any fragrance or preservatives, the expiry date of the cream is within 6 months, however, it is recommended to use it within 2 months. As a reminder, this cream, like other skin care products, should not be stored in the bathroom.
