“SAULES APTIEKA” AT BRĪVĪBAS IELA 68
Saules Aptieka at Brīvības iela 68 offers a wide range of prescription and non-prescription medicines, food supplements and medical products.
It is possible to prepare medicinal products at the pharmacy according to a doctor’s prescription – the pharmacy is one of the few ones in Riga which has a medicine preparation department. This department was created on the basis of European standards for the preparation of medicines, and we make a variety of medicine forms. Every customer receives top-level pharmaceutical care at the pharmacy. According to the doctor’s prescription, we order medicines not registered in Latvia from all countries in the world.
Hygiene products and goods, special nutrition – gluten-free food, medicinal cosmetics and products for babies may also be purchased in the pharmacy.
Wide range of sports medicine supplies and assistive products, including bandages, support belts, walking sticks, crutches are available at the pharmacy.
Saules Aptieka at Brīvības iela 68 is located in a historic Art Nouveau building. The first floor of the corner of the building has traditionally been a pharmacy. Originally from 1910 to 1939, there had been a popular pharmacy that ended operating when the owners emigrated to Germany. Saules aptieka started operating in these premises in 2000.
The pharmacy visit is a pleasure for admirers of cultural and historical values. Particularly interesting are the staircase railings and elevator doors, which have been manufactured at A. Biebler’s metal forging factory in Riga. The interior of the pharmacy is aligned with the Art Nouveau architecture of the building, and some elements of the interior represent the shapes of the building itself.
